Mais por Minas
Minas Gerais is a state of Brazil. I was contacted to create the branding for an electoral campaign website: Mais por Minas ( More for Minas, in English).
Creative Process
What is Minas?
The state Minas Gerais is known for its mountains. All cities have a lot of hills, so when a Brazillian think about Minas, they will think about mountains.
The Flag
Minas Gerais as a state from Brazil has a flag, which is white with a red triangle in the middle.
With that as inspiration, I created a logo that resembles 2 M’s made of mountains and with the red triangle to make sure it wasn’t just mountains. It was mountains of Minas Gerais.
I also created two sections, Minas ja fez/Minas did (full mountain) and Minas vai fazer/Minas will do (Incomplete mountain).
